Well, this week was pretty good. I completed 6 months. That is absolutely crazy and I still feel like I left yesterday.
We had zone conference this week. Our president showed us a Mormon message. Its called "Gracias a El" I think it exists in English... But it is beautiful and I encourage everyone to look it up and share it! Its beautiful. Then Hermana J talked about how we are like the 2000 stripling warriors and how she doesn´t want to see any of us get "left behind." It was awesome. Sometimes I think we forget the power we have been given at this time. I know I do sometimes. Its amazing to be set apart from the world. To be in the world, but not of it. I wish it could always be like this.
My poor companion got injured this week and has been in lots of pain, but she keeps on enduring. She is awesome. Yesterday she was supposed to have a doctors appointment. The taxi we took to the hospital, we contacted the driver. He knew someone in our ward and remembered how he "had something special." So, we talked to him more and hopefully the missionaries in his area will visit him! When we got to the doctor, we found out he couldn´t make it in to the office today. At first we were a little upset, inside of course, but then we took another taxi home. This man, he had a book of Mormon and had been reading it. he said he really liked it and the Elders that gave it to him had written in the back how to pray, and he was praying everyday. He talked about how he isn´t sure what church is true, but he´s beginning to think that this is. It is amazing how people are put in our paths. We, as members, need to always be looking for those he has given us. Give the missionaries your referrals. They needed them. this work is hastening on and you´re a part of it.
This morning we got to go to the temple! I love that place. It is truly the house of the Lord. There is no better place to be. It is wonderful and I encourage everyone to go, if you can, and if you cant, PREPARE! Because there is no place more special.
This is the true church. I know it and I am so grateful to help people learn about it everyday. I love you all and hope all is well!!!!
