Hola! Como estan? Espero todo esta bien.
Well, this week we worked like crazy! It was awesome! I love my new companion and her enthusiasm. We are working harder than ever and trying to follow every prompting and to live worthy of the spirit. Because thats the only way things will get done. Because it isn´t the work of men, its the work of God and he cant be stopped. How cool is that?
Saturday we had our first ward activity! We FINALLY got them to have one. And it was a blast! They played a lot of sports and other fun games. Unfortunatley, we couldnt play the sports bacause its a rule, but we could play the other little games. The kids (and adults shhhh) LOVED playing Ninja. Practically the entire ward played. We also played this game where you had to pass a hula hoop while holding hands. That was exciting to try in a skirt. The children thought we were the coolest missionaries. I love this ward.
Thursday night, we got a call we were going to have divisions again. But it was my companion, not me for once. She said we were having them the next morning. My poor companion was in a panic because she´d been here a week. But she didnt get lost and I think things went well. I went to the other area, and the sister I was with had a small break down. words of comfort (in spanish) were flying out of my mouth. It was definately the gift of tongues. After, she kept thanking me and saying it was what she needed. The next morning she didnt want me to leave. It was sad. I am so grateful for the gifts I have been blessed with, and for the opportunity to share them.
One day, we felt like we should visit this one less active lady. When we got there, we were sure she was drunk. (She wasnt, just heavily medicated). But we were talking to her, and we told her one of the members had passed away. She went into Hysterics. And I gave her a hug and she just went limp. It was scary. Finally we got her calmed down with some lovely inspired scriptures and prayer.
The Lords hand is in everything. Look for it in your lives. I know this is the true church and I am so grateful to be able to testify of it every single day. It is such a great blessing. I love you all and hope all is well. But more importantly, GOD LOVES YOU!!!! What more do you need?
